I have a few workshops and seminars coming up, and a couple of them are free.
It's a good thing my kids let me sleep in over the holidays, my 7 year old was up at 4:30 AM on Christmas day, because January and February are gonna be packed with seminars, workshops, and courses.
-This week-end (January 8th) there's an open house at Vancouver Photo Workshops Saturday from 10AM-5PM. There are loads of FREE workshops, and yours truly will be doing a speedlight demonstration, followed by a Q. & A. session.
-January 13th, a 3 hour seminar at Vancouver Photo Workshops where we will be discussing a variety of equipment specifically for lighting with speedlights. This is an introduction to shooting with off camera flash and a great opportunity to see what's in store for my week-end speedlight bootcamp.
-January 17th, classes start at Langara College, where I am teaching 12 week courses in Photojournalism, Editorial Photography, and Studio Lighting. All of these courses are a part of the photography certificate program at Langara. If you are interested, register soon, they're filling up fast.
-February 5th & 6th, another one of our uber successful Speedlight Bootcamps @ V.P.W. We will spend all week-end talking, shooting with, and exploring small flash, off camera. This one's not for the weak, we go from 9AM until 9PM on Saturday, and then back at it again on Sunday, for more demonstrations and shooting sessions, wrapping up with a critique of your photos from the workshop.

Hi, I was just wondering when does your Digital Workflow Seminar starts on February 12th? Is it a 9 to 5 one? Thanks!
Hi Nastassia, That workshop was in 2011. I do have a free DSLR workshop this week-end at Langara, which is from 9-4 on Saturday. Send me an email if you need more info.
